You probably can’t go wrong with Kremlyovskaya chocolate vodka, which uses Belgian chocolate for its rich flavor. Michael Lawrence, bar and restaurant manager at the St. Regis Los Angeles, has created a winning combination by adding Patron XO Cafe and light and dark Godiva liqueurs to the Russian vodka. The mocha-colored mix is poured tableside into a martini glass, topped with a couple of coffee beans and garnished with two thin sticks of dark chocolate. The tequila in the Patron XO adds a bite that balances all the sweetness, and it’s one of the most luxurious drinks I have ever imbibed -- lethal for chocolate lovers.
