Israeli Envoy Wrecks Artwork About Bomber
Israel’s ambassador to Sweden destroyed an artwork depicting a Palestinian suicide bomber in a Stockholm museum, local radio reported.
“Snow White and the Madness of Truth” consisted of a basin filled with red water. On top floated a boat with a portrait of Hanadi Jaradat, who killed 19 people in Israel in the fall.
Ambassador Zvi Mazel was attending the opening of the Historical Museum’s exhibit tied to an anti-genocide conference. He flung a spotlight into the basin and ripped out electrical wires attached to the work, SR radio reported. Mazel called the installation a “monstrosity.” Museum director Kristian Berg said: “If you don’t like what you see, you can leave.”
