Man Allegedly Linked to ‘Lackawanna Six’ Held

Authorities in Yemen said they had arrested a Yemeni American wanted by the United States for alleged links to an Al Qaeda cell in New York state.
Yemen’s ruling party quoted an official on its website as saying that Jaber Elbaneh, 36, was arrested. He has been accused of links to the “Lackawanna Six,” members of what prosecutors said was an Al Qaeda cell based in Lackawanna, N.Y.
