Another woman has filed a lawsuit against CBS Inc., and multiple individuals over a video showing the drugged woman in private activities with convicted rapist Andrew Luster.

The suit, filed Thursday, alleges that Luster, 39, the great-grandson of cosmetics magnate Max Factor, drugged the plaintiff without her knowledge, leaving her unconscious. The woman, identified only as “Tonja Doe,” said she was living with Luster in Ventura when the incident occurred.

Luster was convicted a year ago of raping three women in 1996, 1997 and 2000 after knocking them out with gamma hydroxybutyrate, or GHB, known as the “date rape” drug. He is serving a 124-year sentence in Monterey County.

One of those victims was identified during his trial as Tonja Doe, 30, a girlfriend of the suspect. Thursday’s lawsuit alleges that without the permission of Luster or the plaintiff, Luster’s mother, Elizabeth Luster, and CBS obtained the video, distributed it and televised private scenes depicting the plaintiff.

A suit filed last week by rape victim “Lynn Doe” accused CBS, Elizabeth Luster and others of wrongfully obtaining and televising a video showing a woman being sexually assaulted by Luster. The video did not show the woman’s face, and the rape victim was not identified.

Last week’s suit identified CBS, several network employees, Elizabeth Luster and Luster’s attorneys as defendants. This week’s suit named CBS, Elizabeth Luster and 25 unnamed persons as defendants.

None of the defendants could be reached for comment Thursday night.
