New Factory Orders Drop 0.3% in May
From Bloomberg News
New orders at U.S. factories dropped 0.3% in May, the second straight decline, suggesting the pace of a manufacturing rebound has cooled.
Bookings for the month were valued at $358.2 billion, the Commerce Department said. Orders in April had fallen 1.1% after a March increase of 5%, which was the biggest in almost four years.
