Saving Indian Relics

Re “Site Could Yield Clues to Indian Mystery,” July 1: Kudos to Waldo Wilcox for having the wisdom to preserve the home and history of the former inhabitants of his ranch, the Fremont Indians, for so many years.

Wilcox is a shining example of a decent American who stuck to his convictions and did not give in to the temptation to exploit the treasure trove on his property.
