Grasso’s Charitable Gifts Belonged to Others
In reference to Richard Grasso’s direction of $24 million in New York Stock Exchange funds to charities during his tenure as chairman (“Grasso’s Gifts to Charities Disclosed,” July 8), his spokesman declared that “Mr. Grasso is extremely proud of the donations made by the NYSE.”
Excuse me?
This role model of corporate greed is proud of giving away other peoples’ money? And without their knowledge? And apparently to his favorite personal charities?
Please tell me what donations he made with his own funds!
