Now an Iran Link?
Something about this story (“Bush, CIA at Odds on Iran,” July 20) sounds eerily familiar. The president finds the CIA’s intelligence doesn’t fit his preconceived notions of a connection between Iran and the Sept. 11 attacks. So his administration is “digging into the facts to determine if there was one.” Has he already formed an ad hoc body to provide the appropriate “facts” to feed to Congress and the American people to justify military action?
