From Times Wire Reports

The state jury that convicted Terry L. Nichols of murder deliberated for a second day in McAlester without reaching a decision on whether to execute the Oklahoma City bombing conspirator.

The jury has the option of sending Nichols, 49, to die by lethal injection or sentencing him to life in prison for his role in the 1995 bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building, which killed 168 people.

They will resume deliberations this morning.

It took the same jury about five hours to convict Nichols of murder last month.
