The Toast Of Troy, who lost her first nine starts, will try for her fifth victory in 10 starts since in today’s seventh race at Hollywood Park, a $50,000 optional claimer at 5 1/2 furlongs on the grass.

Owned by breeder Madeline Auerbach and trained by Barry Abrams, the 4-year-old Unusual Heat filly is coming back on short rest. She won her second in succession five nights ago, by three lengths over eight opponents at 7-2. That was less than three weeks after she’d won at 9-2.

A winner only once in 11 starts on dirt, The Toast Of Troy has won three of seven on turf, is unbeaten at today’s distance and is the only horse in the field coming off a victory. Market Garden, Goldy Rock and Stop The Talking were all second in their most recent races.
