An insult in black and white

Re the review of “White Chicks” [“ ‘White Chicks’ Can, Like, Totally Pull It Off,” June 23]: I sincerely wonder what the response of critic Kevin Thomas would have been to a film made by two white actors, posing as black women, called “Black Chicks.” Somehow I doubt the review would have called such a movie a “solid accomplishment.”

Can you say “double standard”?
