Three Die as Helicopter Crashes Behind Home
Three people were killed in a helicopter crash south of Atlanta, and two others died after another helicopter crashed in an Oklahoma river, federal authorities said.
The Georgia helicopter crashed behind a home in Lamar County and killed all three people aboard, said FAA spokeswoman Kathleen Bergen. No one on the ground was hurt.
Three people survived the crash in Oklahoma’s Cimarron River. The helicopter, which was giving sightseeing rides, clipped power lines before crashing.
Federal officials were investigating the cause of both crashes.
