Three-Strikes Defect

“Law That Fails on All Counts” (Opinion, March 7) was most revealing of the vindictiveness and costliness of the three-strikes law. I voted for this law, thinking it would apply to only serious and violent crimes. This law must be changed and those suffering from this injustice must be released.
