Air Force Cadets Resign in Cheating Scandal
From Times Wire Reports
Six cadets have resigned from the Air Force Academy during an investigation in which 70 freshmen cadets are accused of cheating on a 25-question online test.
Fourteen of the other 64 being investigated have admitted cheating, academy spokesman Johnny Whitaker said. There are about 1,150 freshmen at the academy.
Although it is not the first time large numbers of cadets have been caught cheating, it comes in the wake of a sexual assault scandal that resulted in the ouster of all four academy commanders last year.
