Toyota Names New CEO for Unit

Toyota Motor Corp., which is making changes at the top of its North American corporate communications and investor relations operations in New York, announced that Toshiaki Taguchi, 63, would step down next month as chief executive of Toyota Motor North America Inc.
Taguchi will be replaced by Hideaki Otaka, who currently serves as president and CEO of Delphys Inc., a Toyota marketing and advertising company. Toyota’s North American sales and manufacturing operations are run separately.
