Preacher Graham Has Surgery for Fracture
From Times Wire Reports
Evangelist Billy Graham had surgery in Asheville to brace a pelvic fracture he suffered at his home last week, his spokesman said.
The 85-year-old preacher was listed in fair condition after the surgery, which doctors said should reduce the pain of the fracture.
Graham’s surgeons said orthopedic implants would hold the socket of his hip joint in place while he healed from the injury that resulted from a fall May 14 at his home in Montreat.
