Search of School Fails to Find Shooting Suspect

A search of Mark Keppel High School on Tuesday failed to locate a 17-year-old boy suspected of fatally shooting a 12-year-old last week, police said.
Students were confined to classrooms for hours as police searched for the boy suspected of shooting Nicky Holguin Jr. of Bell Gardens on Friday. The search began after someone at the school saw the alleged shooter enter the campus, police said.
