Update -- The Sparks have to feel better about themselves after beating Washington, 95-79, on Tuesday, and also about DeLisha Milton-Jones after her 20-point effort. Milton-Jones suffered a partial ligament tear in her right knee in February but healed without surgery. She is a key component in the Sparks’ drive to regain the league championship. Connecticut looked awful in losses to Phoenix and Houston, averaging 57.5 points and 36.2% shooting. Coach Mike Thibault is trying to build team chemistry with seven new players and a rookie point guard in Lindsay Whalen.
