Judge OKs Settlement in Verizon Lawsuit

A San Diego judge has approved a settlement of a class-action lawsuit that accuses Verizon Wireless of failing to disclose billing practices and service restrictions for millions of customers, attorneys said.
The nation’s largest wireless carrier agreed to give current and former customers two vouchers: one for free service options and the other for a free phone accessory.
