Stars’ contribution

In Geoff Boucher’s and Elaine Dutka’s look at celebrity and its impact on the presidential election [“But They’re Famous,” Nov. 5], it is clear that even in Hollywood, in a supposedly liberal media, there is a bias against stars expressing their duty as citizens to be involved in the political process.

Rather than being a “major dud,” it was a campaign that only lost by a few percentage points, and part of an effort that brought out record voter turnout.
