Man Wounded by Police Is Named
A man who was shot and injured by four Anaheim police officers Monday has been identified as Eduardo Hilario Jimenez.
Jimenez, 32, of Anaheim, who suffered non-life-threatening injuries, was wanted on a $200,000 warrant alleging that he made criminal threats and possessed a a stolen firearm.
Officers went to a Crescent Avenue apartment about 5:30 p.m. Monday to arrest him, but he got into his car and argued with them, police said. Shooting details were not released.
The district attorney’s office is investigating, which is standard in officer-involved shootings.
