BUZZ CLUBS

Happy ending

So Blue went out with a bang. The Hollywood nightclub closed its doors after Wednesday night’s final blowout -- its annual Wild Turkey holiday bash. The weekly dance clubs hosted by the Las Palmas Avenue venue will be reappearing after the holiday at various locations throughout Hollywood, so stay tuned.... And speaking of changes, the Hollywood Athletic Club is also gone with the wind. The famed venue has been sold and is currently under renovation.... And that means this year’s annual HAC New Year’s Eve party has moved to the American Legion Hall, a historic edifice on Highland Avenue just north of Hollywood Boulevard. Among the dance clubs being funneled into the Legion for this monster mash-up is Club Make-Up, Coven 13, Beat It and Synthetic. That should make for an interesting collection of goths, gays, popsters, mods and occasional death rockers.

Britney’s brigade

We hear the popular Thursday night pop-dance club Tigerheat has moved to Arena, and last week’s Britney Spears theme caused a traffic jam around the block as men and women who dressed up like the pop tart literally stopped traffic.... The Donnas were chilling with Rodney Bingenheimer at Saturday’s Club Bang! bash in Hollywood.... And in more celebrity news, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Tommy Davidson and members of the cast of “Scrubs” and “Las Vegas” were on the scene last week at the Spider Club.... Those looking to warm their spirits this holiday with hot toddies and fishnet stockings can check out the following Christmas-themed burlesque shows: Harlottique’s “Merry Christmas Baby” show every Wednesday in December at Pearl in WeHo, and “Tease the Season Too” on Dec. 11 at the Derby in Los Feliz. The latter is a cabaret-style show with the Ditty Bops and burlesque performers from Japan to New York.... The neighborhood bar Max on Fairfax is now a hotspot called Dime.... Clubland playa Rick Calamaro (Nacional/Ivar/Lincoln) celebrated his birthday at Nacional on Tuesday.

Adult sleepover

Put on your jammies because the gay dance club Dragstrip 66 is celebrating the holidays with “Santa’s Sexy Sleepover” on Dec. 11 at the Echo, which is taking December to put the finishing touches on Echoplex, a 600-capacity space next door.... In the wonders-never-cease category, legendary soul man Stevie Wonder got up and performed with Rocky Dawuni at a recent Afro Funke night at the Santa Monica club Zanzibar. Turns out Wonder’s a huge fan of Duwani, a Ghanaian Afro-roots superstar.... Guitarist/reality show star Dave Navarro debuts his latest band, the Panic Channel, at the Key Club on Dec. 2. Also on the menu are Doheny and the Tints. Tickets are only $1.03, with a canned donation for the L.A. Regional Food Bank. Now that’s the way to kick off the holidays.
