Eight Students Killed in Attack at School Dorm
A man with a knife broke into a high school dormitory and killed eight students in central China, the official New China News Agency reported.
Police were searching for the man after the attack at the No. 2 High School in the city of Ruzhou, which also injured four students, the agency said. The report didn’t give a possible motive but said police believed they knew the man’s appearance.
China has seen a series of knife attacks in schools and day-care centers, prompting orders by the government for schools to hire guards and tighten security.
