Death Toll From Storm Meari Rises to 22

Japanese police said search teams found three victims of Tropical Storm Meari, raising its death toll to 22. Meari caused floods and landslides and forced about 10,000 people to flee. Five people were missing and at least 80 were injured, but the weakened storm has moved into the Pacific Ocean.
