Re “Pouty White People,” Commentary, Sept. 26:

This is a racist article racked with fairy-tale innuendos. Author Gregory Rodriguez should realize that there is a vast difference between California now and in the 1940s, and that it is not “Anglo declinism,” as he claims, causing California’s infrastructure problems.

Instead, California’s problems are caused by overpopulation and support of illegal aliens who take advantage of the social benefits made available to them.

If the readers believe that overcrowded schools and the closing of emergency rooms in California have anything to do with “Anglo pessimism,” then I will sell them the Brooklyn Bridge.

The California infrastructure will never be repaired until the immigration laws of this country are enforced.
