Teacher Charged With Molestation of Children

An elementary school teacher was charged Tuesday with molesting and attempting to molest five children between 2001 and 2004. James Marlo Duffin Jr., 51, pleaded not guilty in Superior Court in Long Beach.
Prosecutors said the alleged molestation occurred at Gulf Elementary in Wilmington, Eshelman Elementary in Lomita and Middleton Street School in Huntington Park.
If convicted, he could be sentenced to life in prison. He is being held in lieu of $3-million bail.
