Suspect’s DNA Found on Rifle, Authorities Say
From Times Wire Reports
DNA belonging to a man accused of killing a San Francisco police officer has been found on the assault rifle used in the killing, authorities said.
Attorneys for David Hill, 22, said they will challenge the findings, implying contamination may have occurred in the San Francisco Police Department’s crime lab.
Hill is accused of killing Officer Isaac Espinoza, 29, on April 10.
