Snagged Parachute Kills Skydiver, Downs Plane

A parachute that opened prematurely became tangled in the tail of the plane a skydiver was jumping from, killing the man and forcing everyone else aboard to leap before the Cessna 206 crashed near Taylorville.
The name of the victim was withheld pending notification of relatives.
The Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board are investigating the accident.
