Security Cameras to Be Installed in Vegas Taxis

Las Vegas cabbies, company owners and regulators have agreed to place security cameras in all 2,000 cabs serving the area.
Violence against taxi drivers -- including the death of a cab driver set afire during a botched robbery in August -- spurred the action by the five-member Nevada Taxicab Authority.
