Microsoft Corp. and Sendo Holdings have settled a suit alleging Microsoft abused their partnership to develop a Windows-based cellphone by sharing the British company’s “smart phone” technology with other handset makers.

Shares of Redmond, Wash.-based Microsoft fell 24 cents to $27.25 on Nasdaq.
