Security Forces Kill 27 Islamic Militants

A gun battle between security forces and Islamic militants fighting to create a Taliban-style state in northern Nigeria left 27 militants and two police officers dead, police said.
Security forces said they recovered 22 assault rifles and large quantities of ammunition.
