Jamdat Buys Blue Lava, Tetris Cellphone Rights

Jamdat Mobile Inc., which makes games, ring tones and images for mobile phones, said it bought Blue Lava Wireless and the rights to the game Tetris on cellphones for about $137 million.

Jamdat will pay about $60 million in cash, 4.05 million shares and a deferred payment of $13.7 million in cash or stock, the Los Angeles company said.
