Glider Dies From Fall After Parachute Fails

A Lake Forest man died Sunday night, hours after his parachute collapsed during a paragliding jump at Andy Jackson Airpark, officials said Monday.
Mario DeLuca, 42, was estimated to be 150 to 200 feet above the ground when his parachute failed. He died during surgery at Loma Linda University Medical Center, officials said.
