A California man was ordered to have a psychiatric exam after trying to enter a parking garage near U.N. headquarters with two firearms and a 5-gallon can of gasoline in his car.

Vernon Wilker, 59, of Salton City was sent to New York’s Bellevue Hospital for a 30-day evaluation. He was charged with three counts of firearms violation.

Wilker told authorities he had a property dispute in California and was coming to the United Nations to file a lawsuit, a spokesman for the world body said.
