Made for Wicking but Kept on Ticking
From Times Wire Reports
An “electronic diaper” used to monitor wetness sparked a bomb alert in a German post office because the package containing it was ticking suspiciously, police in the southwestern city of Heilbronn said.
“They suspected it was a bomb.... It was supposed to respond to wetness with bleeping sounds, but this one ticked,” a police spokesman said.
Police gave the all-clear after they contacted the sender.
