Youth Football Coach Slain in Parking Lot

A youth football coach was shot to death early Sunday in a Bay Area fast-food restaurant parking lot.
Waleed Elahi, 32, of Vallejo was found gravely wounded outside Nation’s Giant Hamburgers by officers responding to reports of a fight shortly before 3:30 a.m. He died at the scene.
Elahi coached a youth football team called the Richmond Steelers, according to the USA Football website. Police knew of no motive for the shooting.
