U.S. Missile Linked to Site of Militant’s Death
From Times Wire Reports
Shrapnel that appeared to be from a U.S.-made missile was found at the house where Pakistan said a top Al Qaeda operative died in a blast last week.
Residents found at least two pieces of shrapnel labeled with “AGM-114,” the words “guided missile” and the initials “US.”
Pakistani officials said earlier that the blast occurred when bomb-making material in the suspect’s house exploded.
