A thank you to Pryor

I’ve learned so very much and still know so very little after 60 years on this often sad planet. But of this I am sure: Richard Pryor (obituary, Dec. 11) was a comic genius. He provided me with some of the greatest, most joyous moments of my life, and he led me to insights into the human condition that I would otherwise have never had. Thank you for everything, Richard. I will miss you.
