Honda Issues Recall Over Ignition Defect

Honda Motor Co. recalled 486,659 Accord sedans and other cars to fix an ignition flaw that can allow the vehicles to roll after they have been parked and the key removed, a U.S. agency said.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said the recall covered some 1999 through 2002 Accords, as well as 1999 and 2000 Accord coupes, all 1997 through 2001 Prelude coupes and some 1999 and 2000 Acura TLs. No accidents or injuries were reported in connection with the latest recall.
