The Defense Department last week also identified the following American military personnel who died in Iraq:

Orlando A. Bonilla, 27, of Killeen, Texas; captain, Army. Bonilla was one of two soldiers killed Jan. 28 in a helicopter accident in Baghdad. He was assigned to the 1st Squadron, 7th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Cavalry Division at Ft. Hood, Texas.

Michael C. Carlson, 22, of St. Paul, Minn.; sergeant, Army. Carlson was among five soldiers killed Jan. 24 when their Bradley fighting vehicle overturned near Khan Bani Saad. He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 2nd Infantry, 1st Infantry Division in Vilseck, Germany.

Stephen A. Castellano, 21, of Long Beach; private first class, Army. Castellano died of a noncombat-related injury Jan. 28 in Mosul. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 14th Infantry Regiment, 25th Infantry Division (Light) at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii.

Sean M. Cooley, 35, of Ocean Springs, Miss.; sergeant first class, Army National Guard. Cooley was killed Thursday when his vehicle was struck by an improvised explosive device in northern Babil province. He was assigned to the 150th Engineer Battalion, 155th Armored Brigade, Army National Guard in Lucedale, Miss.

Michael S. Evans II, 22, Marrero, La.; specialist, Army National Guard. Evans was among three soldiers killed Jan. 28 when an improvised explosive device struck a nearby vehicle in Baghdad. He was assigned to the 1088th Engineer Battalion, 256th Brigade Combat Team, Army National Guard in New Roads, La.

Andrew K. Farrar Jr., 31, of Weymouth, Mass.; sergeant, Marine Corps. Farrar died Jan. 28 in a nonhostile-related incident in Al Anbar province. He was assigned to the Headquarters and Service Battalion, 2nd Force Service Support Group, 2nd Marine Expeditionary Force at Camp Lejeune, N.C.

Robert T. Hendrickson, 24, of Broken Bow, Okla.; specialist, Army. Hendrickson was killed Tuesday when his military vehicle overturned in Baghdad. He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 5th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Cavalry Division at Ft. Hood, Texas.

Edward E. Jack, 51, of Detroit; lieutenant commander, Navy. Jack died of a heart attack Jan. 29 aboard the amphibious assault ship Bonhomme Richard. He was a chaplain assigned to Destroyer Squadron 7 in San Diego.

Lindsey T. James, 23, of Urbana, Mo.; sergeant, Army. James was killed Jan. 29 when an improvised explosive device detonated near his dismounted patrol in Baghdad. He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 14th Infantry Regiment, 10th Mountain Division (Light Infantry) at Ft. Drum, N.Y.

Charles S. Jones, 34, of Lawtey, Fla.; chief warrant officer, Army. Jones was one of two soldiers killed Jan. 28 in a helicopter crash in Baghdad. He was assigned to the 1st Squadron, 7th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Cavalry Division at Ft. Hood, Texas.

Timothy A. Knight, 22, of Brooklyn, Ohio; corporal, Marine Corps. Knight was among 31 troops killed Jan. 26 when a military transport helicopter crashed in the desert near Rutbah. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, 3rd Marine Expeditionary Force, Marine Corps Base Hawaii in Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii.

Jesus A. Leon-Perez, 20, of Houston; private first class, Army. Leon-Perez was among five soldiers killed Jan. 24 when their Bradley fighting vehicle overturned near Khan Bani Saad. He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 2nd Infantry, 1st Infantry Division in Vilseck, Germany.

Sean P. Maher, 19, of Grays Lake, Ill.; lance corporal, Marine Corps. Maher was killed Wednesday in enemy action in Al Anbar province. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, 3rd Marine Expeditionary Force, Marine Corps Base Hawaii in Kaneohe Bay.

Javier Marin Jr., 29, of Mission, Texas; sergeant, Army. Marin was among five soldiers killed Jan. 24 when their Bradley fighting vehicle overturned near Khan Bani Saad. He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 2nd Infantry, 1st Infantry Division in Vilseck, Germany.

James H. Miller IV, 22, of Cincinnati; private first class, Army. Miller was killed Jan. 30 when an improvised explosive device detonated near his vehicle in Ramadi. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 503rd Infantry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Division at Camp Casey, Korea.

Christopher J. Ramsey, 20, of Batchelor, La.; specialist, Army National Guard. Ramsey was among three soldiers killed Jan. 28 when an improvised explosive device struck a nearby vehicle in Baghdad. He was assigned to the 1088th Engineer Battalion, 256th Brigade Combat Team, Army National Guard in New Roads, La.

Jason C. Redifer, 19, of Stuarts Draft, Va.; lance corporal, Marine Corps. Redifer was among three Marines killed Monday in enemy action in Babil province. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, 2nd Marine Expeditionary Force at Camp Lejeune, N.C.

Jonathan R. Reed, 25, of Opelousa, La.; staff sergeant, Army National Guard. Reed was among three soldiers killed Jan. 28 when an improvised explosive device struck a nearby vehicle in Baghdad. He was assigned to the 1088th Engineer Battalion, 256th Brigade Combat Team, Army National Guard in New Roads, La.

Joseph E. Rodriguez, 25 of Las Cruces, N.M.; staff sergeant, Army. Rodriguez was killed Jan. 28 when an improvised explosive device struck his armored vehicle in Baghdad. He was assigned to the 8th Engineer Battalion, 1st Cavalry Division at Ft. Hood, Texas.

Lyle W. Rymer II, 24, of Fort Smith, Ark.; specialist, Army National Guard. Rymer was shot to death Jan. 28 in enemy action in Baghdad. He was assigned to the 239th Engineer Company, 39th Infantry Brigade, Army National Guard in Booneville, Ark.

Nazario Serrano, 20, of Irving, Texas; lance corporal, Marine Corps. Serrano was killed Jan. 30 in enemy action in Al Anbar province. He was assigned to Combat Service Support Battalion 1, Combat Service Support Group 11, 1st Force Service Support Group, 1st Marine Expeditionary Force at Camp Pendleton.

Stephen R. Sherman, 27, of Neptune, N.J.; sergeant, Army. Sherman was killed Thursday when an improvised explosive device detonated near his vehicle in Mosul. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 5th Infantry Regiment, 25th Infantry Division (Stryker Brigade Combat Team) at Ft. Lewis, Wash.

Joseph W. Stevens, 26, of Sacramento; staff sergeant, Army. Stevens was among five soldiers killed Jan. 24 when their Bradley fighting vehicle overturned near Khan Bani Saad. He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 2nd Infantry, 1st Infantry Division in Vilseck, Germany.

Harry R. Swain IV, 21, of Cumberland, N.J.; lance corporal, Marine Corps. Swain was among three Marines killed Monday in enemy action in Babil province. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, 2nd Marine Expeditionary Force at Camp Lejeune, N.C.

Mark C. Warren, 44, of La Grande, Ore.; sergeant first class, Army National Guard. Warren died of noncombat-related injuries Monday at Kirkuk Air Base. He was assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 116th Armor Cavalry Regiment, 116th Brigade Combat Team (Forward), Army National Guard in La Grande.

Viktar V. Yolkin, 24, of Spring Branch, Texas; specialist, Army. Yolkin was among five soldiers killed Jan. 24 when their Bradley fighting vehicle overturned near Khan Bani Saad. He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 2nd Infantry, 1st Infantry Division in Vilseck, Germany.

Mickey E. Zaun, 27, of Brooklyn Park, Minn.; sergeant first class, Army. Zaun was killed Jan. 28 in a collision between two armored vehicles in Mosul. He was assigned to the Army Special Operations Command at Ft. Bragg, N.C.

Christopher E. Zimny, 27, of Cook, Ill.; corporal, Marine Corps. Zimny was among three Marines killed Monday in enemy action in Babil province. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, 2nd Marine Expeditionary Force at Camp Lejeune, N.C.
