From Staff and Wire Reports

An Ohio Supreme Court justice pleaded guilty in Bowling Green to drunken driving, with her lawyer saying she was an alcoholic who suffered a relapse.

The judge suspended Justice Alice Robie Resnick’s license for six months and ordered her to complete a three-day alcohol rehabilitation program.

“Justice Resnick, for the better part of her adult life, has been fighting alcoholism,” her lawyer Sheldon Wittenberg said after the hearing. Wittenberg said Resnick, a first-time offender, was not considering resigning.
