Sean “Hollywood” Hamilton, an evening DJ at KIIS-FM (102.7) from 1987 to 1994, will become the weekday morning host at oldies station KRTH-FM (101.1) on Feb. 21. He’ll be teamed with his former KIIS sidekick, George Reyes, better known to listeners as Dr. George Brothers.

The goal, said General Manager Maureen Lesourd, is to “raise the profile of our morning show while still providing listeners with the music they love.”

Gary Bryan, who has been KRTH’s morning host since June 2002, will move to the weekday 2-6 p.m. slot. “Shotgun” Tom Kelly will shift from afternoons to the 6-10 p.m. slot, with Christina Kelley getting the late shift from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. Jay Coffey will man the overnight shift, leaving current night owl Bill Stevens, a KRTH DJ since October 1991, out of work after next week, a station spokeswoman said.
