Paying for Police
Re “L.A. Tax Hike for Police Fails,” Feb. 10: It’s good to see some sanity in city government. Additional police should be financed through existent city revenues. Of course, who wouldn’t like to get a half-cent sales tax on everything sold in Los Angeles.
