The Defense Department last week also identified the following American military personnel killed in Afghanistan and Iraq:

Jeremy O. Allmon, 22, of Cleburne, Texas; specialist, Army. Allmon was killed Feb. 6 when an improvised explosive device detonated near his vehicle in Taji, Iraq. He was assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 8th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Cavalry Division at Ft. Hood, Texas.

Steven G. Bayow, 42, of Colonia Yap, Federated States of Micronesia; staff sergeant, Army. Bayow was one of two soldiers killed Feb. 4 when an improvised explosive device struck their vehicle in Bayji, Iraq. He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 7th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Infantry Division at Ft. Stewart, Ga.

Sean L. Brock, 29, of Redondo Beach; captain, Marine Corps. Brock was killed Feb. 2 in enemy action in Iraq’s Al Anbar province. He was assigned to Headquarters Battalion, Marine Corps Base Camp Butler in Okinawa, Japan.

Richard C. Clifton, 19, of Milford, Del.; lance corporal, Marine Corps. Clifton was killed Feb. 3 in enemy action in Iraq’s Al Anbar province. He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, 1st Marine Expeditionary Force at Camp Pendleton.

Richard M. Crane, 25, of Independence, Mo.; specialist, Army Reserve. Crane died Tuesday of noncombat-related injuries in Kandahar, Afghanistan. He was assigned to the 325th Field Hospital, Army Reserve in Independence, Mo.

Jeffrey S. Henthorn, 25, of Choctaw, Okla.; specialist, Army. Henthorn died Tuesday of noncombat-related injuries in Balad, Iraq. He was assigned to the 24th Transportation Company at Ft. Riley, Kan.

Jessica M. Housby, 23, of Rock Island, Ill.; sergeant, Army National Guard. Housby was killed Wednesday when an improvised explosive device detonated near her convoy as it was hauling cargo to a base at Baghdad International Airport. She was assigned to the 1644th Transportation Company, Army National Guard in Rock Falls, Ill.

Daniel Torres, 23, of Fort Worth; sergeant, Army. Torres was one of two soldiers killed Feb. 4 when an improvised explosive device struck their vehicle in Bayji, Iraq. He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 7th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Infantry Division at Ft. Stewart, Ga.

Travis M. Wichlacz, 22, of West Bend, Wis.; lance corporal, Marine Corps Reserve. Wichlacz was killed Feb. 5 in enemy action in Iraq’s Babil province. He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 24th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division, Marine Corps Reserve in Milwaukee.

Zachary R. Wobler, 24, of Ottawa, Ohio; staff sergeant, Army. Wobler was killed Feb. 6 when his dismounted patrol was attacked with small-arms fire in Mosul, Iraq. He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 325th Airborne Infantry Regiment, 82nd Airborne Division at Ft. Bragg, N.C.
