Northridge’s Frazier Is Allowed to Return

Cal State Northridge reinstated guard Joseph Frazier, who returned to practice Monday after missing 14 games while on suspension for conduct and attitude detrimental to the team.

Frazier, a senior from Pasadena Muir High, was averaging 11.2 points, 3.4 rebounds and 2.9 steals a game before Coach Bobby Braswell suspended him. He was also suspended for 11 games last season for violating team rules.

“I believe that the separation from the team has taught Joseph to value the unique privilege and opportunity he has as a Division I student-athlete at Cal State Northridge,” Braswell said in a statement. “It is my hope that he has learned to never take for granted the wonderful opportunity that he has been afforded.”
