Firefighters Monitor 5 Hillside Homes
From Times Staff and Wire Reports
In anticipation of sustained rainfall, firefighters Tuesday were monitoring five hillside homes declared uninhabitable.
Three homes in the 10700 block of Cranks Road and two in the 5700 block of Tellefson Road were red-tagged Saturday after the ground began sliding.
All residents were safely evacuated; none of the homes have major structural damage, fire officials said.
