Kobe and the Lakers Could Use a Break
Do I miss Phil and Shaq? Of course. Phil has won nine championships. How many did Kobe win before Phil arrived? Shaq may not be the same player he was three years ago, but if you haven’t noticed, his team has 14 more wins than Kobe’s Lakers.
Kobe is dreaming if he thinks Larry Brown will coach the Lakers. Larry left Philadelphia to get away from Allen Iverson. Why would he come to Los Angeles to coach another player who isn’t coachable?

As Kobe Bryant celebrates his 40-point performance in beating the lowly and injured Utah Jazz, Tracy McGrady and Yao Ming ride into the All-Star weekend on an eight-game win streak and firmly entrenched in sixth place for the playoffs.
Gee, who would have thought that teaming an All-Star shooting guard with an All-Star center might work out fine?
