California Home Prices

I have just been notified that my family has to move by the end of the month; the house we have lived in for nine years is being sold. I can see this happening to many families now, since the cost of homes has gone out of sight for the average person. Rent has also gone far too high, for the same reason.

I guess we are going to have to leave good old California, and I have lived here for 51 years -- all my life. At least other states still have reasonable costs for a home. Isn’t that supposed to be the American dream? Not any longer in California!
