Alleged Plot to Kill U.S. Archeologists Foiled
From Times Wire Reports
Jordanian prosecutors have charged two suspected terrorists after police foiled a plot to kill four American archeologists, security officials said.
Jamil Mohammed Kutkut, 27, and Ibrahim Mohammed Zein Abedeen, also known as Jihad Qashah, 36, were charged with plotting to commit terrorist acts and illegal possession of automatic weapons.
No details were available on the alleged targets of the plot, which police say they foiled when they arrested Kutkut in October. Abedeen reportedly fled to Syria.
