Babin was among seven soldiers killed Thursday when an improvised explosive device struck their Bradley fighting vehicle in Baghdad. He was assigned to the 256th Infantry Brigade (Mechanized), Army National Guard in Lafayette, La.

Bergeron was among seven soldiers killed Thursday when an improvised explosive device struck their Bradley fighting vehicle in Baghdad. He was assigned to the 256th Infantry Brigade (Mechanized), Army National Guard in Lafayette, La.

Julio C. Cisneros Alvarez, 22, of Pharr, Texas; lance corporal, Marine Corps. Cisneros Alvarez was killed Thursday in enemy action in Iraq’s Al Anbar province. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, 1st Marine Expeditionary Force at Twentynine Palms, Calif.

Jimmy D. Buie, 44, of Floral, Ark.; specialist, Army National Guard. Buie was among three soldiers killed Tuesday when an improvised explosive device detonated near their military vehicle in Taji, Iraq. He was assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 153rd Infantry Regiment, 39th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, Army National Guard in Fordyce, Ark.

Kurt J. Comeaux, 34, of Raceland, La.; sergeant first class, Army National Guard. Comeaux was among seven soldiers killed Thursday when an improvised explosive device struck their Bradley fighting vehicle in Baghdad. He was assigned to the 256th Infantry Brigade (Mechanized), Army National Guard in Lafayette, La.

Zachariah S. Davis, 25, of Twentynine Palms, Calif.; sergeant, Marine Corps. Davis was killed Thursday in enemy action in Iraq’s Al Anbar province. He was assigned to the 3rd Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, 1st Marine Division, 1st Marine Expeditionary Force at Twentynine Palms, Calif.

Cory R. Depew, 21, of Beech Grove, Ind.; private, Army. Depew was killed Tuesday when his Stryker military vehicle was struck by a rocket-propelled grenade in Mosul, Iraq. He was assigned to the 2nd Squadron, 14th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Brigade, 25th Infantry Division (Stryker Brigade Combat Team) at Ft. Lewis, Wash.

Huey P.L. Fassbender, 24, of LaPlace, La.; specialist, Army National Guard. Fassbender was among seven soldiers killed Thursday when an improvised explosive device struck their Bradley fighting vehicle in Baghdad. He was assigned to the 256th Infantry Brigade (Mechanized), Army National Guard in Lafayette, La.

Damien T. Ficek, 26, of Pullman, Wash.; sergeant, Army National Guard. Ficek was killed Dec. 30 when his patrol was attacked with small-arms fire in Baghdad. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 161st Infantry Regiment, Army National Guard in Spokane, Wash.

Armand L. Frickey, 20, of Houma, La.; specialist, Army National Guard. Frickey was among seven soldiers killed Thursday when an improvised explosive device struck their Bradley fighting vehicle in Baghdad. He was assigned to the 256th Infantry Brigade (Mechanized), Army National Guard in Lafayette, La.

Thomas E. Houser, 22, of Council Bluffs, Iowa; sergeant, Marine Corps. Houser was killed Monday in enemy action in Iraq’s Al Anbar province. He was assigned to the 2nd Force Reconnaissance Company, 2nd Marine Expeditionary Force at Camp Lejeune, N.C.

Jeff LeBrun, 21, of Buffalo, N.Y.; specialist, Army. LeBrun was killed Jan. 1 when his military vehicle was struck by an improvised explosive device in Baghdad. He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 15th Field Artillery Regiment, 10th Mountain Division (Light Infantry) at Ft. Drum, N.Y.

Joshua S. Marcum, 33, of Evening Shade, Ark; specialist, Army National Guard. Marcum was among three soldiers killed Tuesday when an improvised explosive device detonated near their military vehicle in Taji, Iraq. He was assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 153rd Infantry Regiment, 39th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, Army National Guard in Camden, Ark.

Robert K. McGee, 38, of Martinsville, Va.; staff sergeant, Army. McGee died June 30 in Manila of noncombat-related injuries. He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 1st Special Forces Group at Ft. Lewis, Wash.

Jeremy W. McHalffey, 28, of Mabelvale, Ark.; specialist, Army National Guard. McHalffey was among three soldiers killed Tuesday when an improvised explosive device detonated near their military vehicle in Taji, Iraq. He was assigned to the 39th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, Army National Guard in Little Rock, Ark.

Otie J. McVey, 53, of Oak Hill, W.Va.; sergeant first class, Army Reserve. McVey died Nov. 7 in Beaver, W.Va., after being evacuated from Baghdad on Sept. 23 for treatment of a noncombat- related illness. He was assigned to the 706th Transportation Company, Army Reserve in Kenton, Ohio.

Pedro A. Munoz, 47, of Aquada, Puerto Rico; sergeant first class, Army. Munoz died Jan. 2 of injuries suffered a day earlier when his patrol encountered enemy fire in Shindand, Afghanistan. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 7th Special Forces Group at Ft. Bragg, N.C.

Warren A. Murphy, 29, of Marrero, La.; specialist, Army National Guard. Murphy was among seven soldiers killed Thursday when an improvised explosive device struck their Bradley fighting vehicle in Baghdad. He was assigned to the 256th Infantry Brigade (Mechanized), Army National Guard in Lafayette, La.

Craig L. Nelson, 21, of Bossier City, La.; specialist, Army National Guard. Nelson died Dec. 29 at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Md., of injuries suffered Dec. 16 when an improvised explosive device detonated near his military vehicle in Baghdad. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 156th Armor Regiment, Army National Guard in Shreveport, La.

Brian P. Parrello, 19, of West Milford, N.J.; lance corporal, Marine Corps. Parrello was killed Jan. 1 in enemy action in Iraq’s Al Anbar province. He was assigned to the Small Craft Company, Headquarters Battalion, 2nd Marine Division, 2nd Marine Expeditionary Force at Camp Lejeune, N.C.

Foster Pinkston, 47, of Warrenton, Ga.; sergeant, Army National Guard. Pinkston died Sept. 16 at Eisenhower Army Medical Center in Augusta, Ga., of a noncombat- related illness. He was assigned to the 878th Engineer Battalion, Army National Guard in Augusta, Ga.

Jason E. Smith, 21, of Phoenix; lance corporal, Marine Corps. Smith was killed Dec. 31 in enemy action in Iraq’s Al Anbar province. He was assigned to the 1st Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, 1st Marine Division, 1st Marine Expeditionary Force at Camp Pendleton.

Kenneth G. Vonronn, 20, of Bloomingburg, N.Y.; private first class, Army National Guard. Vonronn was among seven soldiers killed Thursday when an improvised explosive device struck their Bradley fighting vehicle in Baghdad. He was assigned to the Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 1st Battalion, 69th Infantry Regiment, 42nd Infantry Division, Army National Guard in New York.

Bennie J. Washington, 25, of Atlanta; sergeant, Army. Washington died Thursday at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio of injuries suffered Oct. 14 when his military vehicle was struck by a rocket-propelled grenade in Ramadi, Iraq. He was assigned to the 44th Engineer Battalion, 2nd Infantry Division at Camp Howze, Korea.

Curtis L. Wooten III, 20, of Spanaway, Wash.; private first class, Army. Wooten was killed Tuesday when an improvised explosive device detonated near his military vehicle in Balad, Iraq. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 77th Armor Regiment, 1st Infantry Division in Schweinfurt, Germany.

Jeremy R. Wright, 31, of Shelbyville, Ind.; sergeant, Army. Wright was killed Monday when his military vehicle struck an improvised explosive device in Asadabad, Afghanistan. He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 1st Special Forces Group at Ft. Lewis, Wash.
